__NOTOC__ The following articles relate to Red China: *Communist-controlled China (1927–49) - territories held during the Chinese Civil War *People's Republic of China - a.k.a., "China", the state on the mainland of Asia founded in 1949 toward the end of the Chinese Civil War Synonym: ''Communist China''. ==Background== Red China is a dated term, used during Cold War years primarily in the West to designate the People's Republic of China in a way that identified it as part of the Communist bloc which was seen as the ideological enemy of the West, and also to distinguish it from the term Nationalist China which referred to the Western allied government on the island of Taiwan. Use of Red in the sense of "communist" was chosen by the Bolsheviks in 1917; for example, the Red Army. The Flag of China is red with gold stars, where the red color represents the Communist Revolution. The term ''Red China'' was considered derogatory by the Chinese, and fell out of favor starting in the late 1960s〔(Google ngrams term frequency chart for ''Red China'' and ''Communist China'' )〕 with the diplomatic rapprochement between China and the United States. The term ''Nationalist China'' likewise fell out of use to avoid antagonizing the People's Republic, and was replaced by the neutral Republic of China. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Red China」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
